When a coach tells the team, “We’re having a shooting practice today!” I would say most kids are excited. Kids love to shoot, but learning to shoot with power and accuracy is hard to teach. If you do a simple Google or YouTube search, you will find so much content that does not teach kids the right technique. There are so many nuances about the skill that players must pay attention to. I have always believed that every player’s shooting skill is authentic, and that players must become their own “best coach” to make the subtle adjustments to get their own shooting skills right.
